excellent plant that is underutilized; native

MISC.: This shrub, although the compact
form of the species still does get large, it
just takes a longer time!

tolerates severe pruning (in early spring)

USE: Massing, mixed shrub border,
foundation planting, naturalizing
MISC.: Flowers are honey-scented and
emerge before leaves. An outstanding native
worthy of greater landscape use!
