This term…
This term, our kids have been learning all about the seasons. Some
of the children shared photos from their winter break vacation
where they got to experience the real feeling of snow while skiing.
Others, got the chance to go to the beach and bring back seashells
as souvenirs. We were able to gather colorful leaves for autumn and
we collected beautiful spring flowers. Each of the children got to
bring their own favorite toy for show and tell and shared it with
their friends in class. The kids got the chance to see real spiders and
insects. They also touched an actual fish and got to learn about its
body parts. They experienced fishing by using rods to catch
magnetic fish. They held boiled eggs and recognized the difference
between floating and sinking. They found out that ducks have
webbed feet to help them swim.
The children enjoyed cutting paper to use as hay for our animal
farm. They were able to distinguish the different sounds that
animals make.
We designed our own yellow school bus where some children
pretended to be drivers while others, sat in the back.
They sang songs and practiced many nursery rhymes along the way.
Congratulations to our class for winning medals in sports day.
Finally, we have been preparing for our spring concert and kids have
been practicing all the songs. We have made special decorations to
go along with our spring theme. It was definitely a lovely, colorful
and exciting term.
Thank you.
