Harriet Winslow Orphanage:
Orphans of Tsunami and WarRun by the church: ages from 8 to 20 yrs
Crafts made by the children who
attend regular government school.
They need beads, thread, material, glue etc.
2 student's are great artists.
At the Day care center run by the church.
Widowed mothers wanted the church to give uniforms to the kids as they could not
afford to buy them clothes and it would help the orphans feel that they are one family.
The church picked young war widows to earn money,
and gave them sewing machines.
Konavil Daycare:
The shed with coconut palm leaves is the temporary day care for the area kids.
Soon they will have 4o kids.

The young man in blue jeans is the ordained priest
with a friend cleaning the area to start rebuilding. 7 churches were bombed.
Hope and Beauty: The young priest uses them as flower pots.
The kids made the garlands for me with fresh flowers.
I was touched looking at the fresh flowers.
