The tropical rainforest is an extraordinary habitat.
The tropical rainforest lies on South America in
Brazil. The climate varies from cold to warm. There
are many species in the tropical rain forest. It
ranges from 1,500 birds- 2,000 butterflies. These
animals can adapt well to their wet, warm,
practically noisy, rainy biome. The temperature
rarely drops below 64° and rarely raises above 95°.
The rainforest grows in four layers. It receives about
80in. Of rain annually. It stays green all year! The
rain forest is very amazing!
. The rainforest covers 6% of the earth
.most rainforest lye near the equator
.bats live in the rainforest more then any other place
.the trees control the amount of rain water
.the trees can grow 165ft. Tall
.some plants provide medicines

tall! Emergents control the
amount of rainwater that rains on
the rainforest. Emergents are the
tallest trees in the rain forest.
Banana Tree
Banana trees grow in the rainforest too. The
leaves on the banana tree have bushy sides that feel
rough. Bananas grow on the tree in bunches..
Banana trees can not be in areas colder then 13°C.
Cotton Trees
Cotton trees have similar leaves like the banana tree but
not exactly alike. The cotton tree must be planted each
year. It must be grown in warm weather. Cotton was
originally grown in the South.. Cotton cannot thrive in a
dry climate.
