Queen Anne’s lace is a wildflower. It has white, light blue, rosy pink tiny flowers clustered in an
umbrella shape, with a red or purple middle. It is 4 to 5 feet tall if you take care of it. It is found in
Europe and USA. It lives in fields. It blooms May through October. The stem is very hairy. If you
touch the leaves it may cause an itchy rash.
A Queen Anne can spread quickly over 11 miles long. Wow! It’s probably so if you are traveling you
will have many pretty flowers to look at! A Queen Anne’s lace is a carrot. It is a medicine plant.
Bees can see wildflowers prettier than we can so we might see it pretty,
And bees might see it prettier.
Habitat
Queen Anne Lace lives in fields or grassy areas with lots of flowers. Many flowers and butterflies
live there. Usually rocky places and muddy places.
