•Thin and circular
•High in the sky
•Left over after a thunder

sign of the start of an

system (= disturbance)
•In themselves: no
precipitation

Cumulus clouds are fluffy
Stratus clouds are long
Nimbus means rain

•If you see them early in

day it often means that
