A. PRODUCTION DATA
Period
−
24 Hours (8:00 hours of previous day to 8:00 hours day of
reporting day
Source
− Producing Fields

condensate production report on the basis of production meter
reading; sends to the company head office through wireless, phone,
fax & email by 9 am everyday.
−
Companies’ Data compilation centres send daily gas & production
report to Production & Marketing Division, Petrobangla by 10-11am
everyday through phone and email.
−

DAILY DATA COLLECTION & COMPILATION
B. Consumption Data
Period
−
24 Hours (8:00 hours of previous day to 8:00 hours day of
reporting day
Source
− Distribution companies
Compilation Procedure

Company representatives records hourly gas consumption by
individual power plants and fertilizer factories, they send these to the
central data compilation unit (load dispatch centre) at the company
head office.
−
Consumption figures for non-bulk sector (industry, captive power,
domestic, CNG etc) are calculated on the basis of throughput at the
CGS, TBS, and DRS etc. In charge of the these stations transmits
these data to the load dispatch centre.
−
The load dispatch centre prepares a hourly log sheet everyday
which contains details information on gas amount and pressure and
calculates daily consumption.
DAILY DATA COLLECTION & COMPILATION
−
Load dispatch centre of the company sends daily consumption data
to Production & Marketing Division, Petrobangla by 10-11am
everyday through phone and email.
−
Petrobangla compiles all consumption data customer category wise
(power, fertilizer and non-bulk) under each company in the Daily
Production and Consumption Report, calculates nationwide
consumption, circulates the to the higher authorities and uploads it
at the Perobanlga website (www.petrobangla,org.bd/.

 Condensate: Thousand litres
LIMITATIONS
• Measurement of Non-bulk small Customers
such as Industrials, Commercial are often
Inaccurate, because of Mechanical Meter.
• Almost all the Domestic Customers are Unmettered, resulting in Inefficient Use.
