Who are we ?
We are a PASS chapter focused on Business Analytics.
Who is PASS ?
While it is an acronym for Professional Association for SQL Server, today it is
expanding its horizons as a Professional Association to serve the entire spectrum of
Data Professionals associated with the Microsoft Data Platform to – Connect ,
Share and Learn.

We get a lot of help from Microsoft and our local MS sponsor - Bryan Smith and
from PASS Regional Mentor – Ryan Adams.
Why ?
• Business Analytics is changing at a rapid pace – need a forum for collaboration
• We want to grow and serve the BI community in the North Texas area

PASS Elections
The PASS Board of Directors has established new eligibility
requirements for voting in PASS elections. To receive a ballot for this
year’s upcoming Nomination Committee and Board elections, you
need to update your PASS membership profile by June 1.
Here’s how:
• Login in to your MyPASS
• Navigate to MyProfile
• Update fields
• Click on ‘save’
Have more than one profile? Login to the profile/s you no longer use
and click ‘Deactivate My Profile’ next to the Save button.

Volunteering with PASS
Interested in Volunteering?
It’s now easier than ever to volunteer with PASS. Let us know your volunteer
preferences, by updating the new “MyVolunteering” section of your MyPASS
profile.
Outstanding Volunteer Award
The Outstanding Volunteer award is intended to honor peer-nominated
PASS members who have shown extraordinary dedication and effort in
service to the data professional community.
Send your nominations to [email protected] along with
why you think they should be recognized.
PASSion Award
The highest of PASS accolades presented yearly to a volunteer who has a
made significant contribution to PASS and the global data professional
community. Nominations will open several months before the annual
PASS Summit. Stay tuned!
