Objectives:
Grade F/G
Percentages - Find a percentage of an amount; Change two
numbers into a percentage.
Grade E/D
Percentages - Find VAT on bills (inc. power bills); Find percentage
increase or decrease; combine fractions and percentages to solve
problems.
Grade C/B
Percentages - Find percentage increase or decrease from the final
answers; Turn a proportion into a percentage; Calculate compound
interest and repeated percentage change.
Grade A/A*
Percentages - Work with combinations of percentages
Module Three Breakdown
Fractions
Objectives:
Grade F/G
Fractions - Find a fraction of an amount; Change two numbers into a
fraction; Change fractions into decimals and percentages and use that
to put them in order of size. How to cancel fractions and find equivalent
fractions.
Grade E/D
Fractions - Change mixed fractions to decimals; Add and subtract
fractions; Find a fraction off an amount; Use a calculator for fractions;
