the pictures and words as directed to see the
resources on the internet. Paper and pencil needed to
answer questions.

Get a sheet of paper to record your work.
¼. What is a fraction?
• A. Use this dictionary to record the definition
of a fraction.
• B. Write a fraction that ESTIMATES how much
of each item has been eaten.

• Watch the video, by clicking on the picture.
• When you are finish, record on your paper, what
you learned. Then click on the purple arrow.
¾. Improper Fractions to a Mixed
Numbers
Read all the directions first.
Go to the web site at the bottom of the page.
Select Improper and Mixed Numbers
Read about the process and hit play to see
how fractions are converted.
• A. On a sheet of paper, write down 1 of the
fractions you converted.
• B. Then on your paper, convert 19/5 to a
Mixed Number.
