In 1959, Moses Coady established the Coady
International Institute in Antigonish, Nova Scotia.
This institute was
created to teach senior
level managers in
third world countries
about communitybased development
activities.
The Coady participants can then return to their
home countries to improve their countrymen's
quality of life.
