• Research indicates that bullying may lead to delinquency.
• Bullied kids are more likely to commit crimes as adults.
• Increased potential for violent behavior from both the bully and
the victim.
• About 14 percent of those who reported suffering repeated
bullying through their childhood and teenage years wound up
serving time in prison as adults.
• 6 percent of people who did not experience bullying ended up
in prison.

• Youth can inform any staff
• Call PREA hotline (dial 7 on the unit phone)
• Youth can file a grievance in the unit and place in a locked box
