Two Tribes
• You have been divided into two groups
• You will pick your name from a hat. One
tribe is called the Rattlers and the other
are the Eagles
• You are to make yourself a flag and
something to wear that will be
recognizable to each other and outsiders
• You are to have a motto and rules for your
gang
Task
You are now a member of the Eagles or the Rattler tribe
work with your group to create the following to help
bond your tribe together

Introduce class to your tribe telling us all about the
above
The Tournament
• You are to go outside and find as much
hidden monopoly money as possible
• Conduct a number of little sports games so
the tribes can compete for points
• Announce the winning tribe
Scores on the doors
• You will be given the names of class members
please grade them on the following criteria .
1 is low 8 is high
• Sportsmanship
• Competitive spirit
• Friendliness
• Leadership
• Loyalty
• (use to measure in and out group attitudes)
Cooperative task
• The class is brought together and will sing
a round of London's burning
• Put the words on the board and they are to
practice as a whole group to perform in
front of another teacher later.
