Transcript WEEK 3

WEEK 3 – due October 5
Spelling: Using your spelling words (pattern and sight words) choose
2 activities to complete in your journal.
1. Visit www.spellingcity.com ; type in your words and play a spelling game. In your
journal, write the name of the game or activity that you played.
2. Type your words 5 times on the computer. Make each word a different font. (Maybe
mom or dad can help you with this ) Print it out and glue it in your journal.
3. Choose 5 words (pattern or sight words) and write sentences using these words.
4. Tic-Tac-Toe: Make a tic-tac-toe grid in your journal. Have a partner (mom/dad/older sibling) say
a pattern or sight word aloud. Choose a box and spell the word in the box. Have your partner
check. If it is spelled correct, you put an X over the word. If it is spelled incorrect, your partner
puts an O around the word. See if you can make tic-tac-toe! Can you fill the whole grid with x’s?
