mitigation and adaptation to climate change
Focus: a comprehensive plan for planning, including traffic and land
use, in the region and especially in the development zone JämsäJyväskylä-Äänekoski
• Optimization of the public transport in the area:
– possibilities of the railway traffic in the development area
– busses and development area: bus lines, the emissions from the busses
• Transport of goods, logistics:
– emissions from transport and possibilities for mitigation – optimization studies

sustainable planning
Focus: Integrative solutions in spatial planning (and spatial structure) ,
support and guide the development of existing areas into more
sustainable direction. Planning as a tool and the potential in
planning, housing and services for mitigation.
