Climate Change Impacts in
Southeast Florida
• Sea-level rise (2-5 feet) by 2100
• Increasing occurrence of extreme weather
• hotter summers
• drier droughts
• wetter rainy seasons
• Increasing temperature (2 to 10°F) by 2100
• Change in the growing season
• Potential change in the frequency and intensity of
tropical storms

How to develop a greenhouse gas
emissions inventory…

• Government Analysis/Measures
• Community Analysis/Measures
A GHG emissions inventory is an accounting of the estimated amount of GHG
emitted to the atmosphere over a specific period of time (e.g., one year). A GHG
inventory also provides information on the activities that cause emissions, as well
as background on the methods used to make the calculations.
