Principal’s Proud Club
In order to be eligible for this award in a weeks time (WednesdayTuesday), a student may not get more than 2 yellow cards. Red,
purple, and blue cards automatically eliminate a student. After Winter
Break, it will change to 1 yellow card in a week. Too many tardies,
cafeteria write ups, or bus write ups can effect this as well.
Daily Folders & Friday
Folders
1.
Look through the daily (blue &white) folder each day.
2.
Go over any papers with your child that you see fit or at least
the “N” or “U” graded ones. This means they are needing
extra help in order to master the material that has been
taught.
3.
Go over their weekly behavior grade which will be in their
Colt Folder on Friday’s. You hopefully will see “E” and “S”
grades here.
4.
For those parents who do not have an email address, all PFO
papers will go home in the daily (blue/white folder).
5. Parents should return things or send notes back in either
folder as necessary.
Ways To Have A Successful Year
•Have your child bring their backpack everyday to school.
•Have your child return their library book, Homework
Notebook, and Home Readers by Friday.
•Look through the Colt/Daily folder, sign, and have your child
return it everyday. Please discuss their behavior grade if
needed.
•Read to your child as much as possible. The more you read the
more successful they will be in school.
•Send a note to school in the morning or call the front office if
there is going to be a change in their departure transportation.
Do not send me an email the day of the change.
•Inform your child’s teacher of any major changes that may
affect your child’s behavior at school.
•Send in snacks daily for your child (water only for snack time!).
•Check our class web page frequently.

doctor’s note and/or parent letter when they return. A child
may earn a Perfect Attendance sticker on their report card if
they have been at school everyday during a nine weeks period.
If a student has three or more tardies and/or early dismissals in
a nine week period, their conduct grade will be lowered with
the exception of having a doctor’s note. Therefore, they will be
not be in the running for the Golden Horseshoe Award or the
Principal’s Proud Club for that nine week period. Also, a
student will be asked to serve detention on the eighth tardy and
every tardy thereafter. Please help your child to arrive on time.
