Los verbos reflexivos
Some verbs in Spanish involve doing actions to
ourselves. These are called reflexive verbs.
The endings are slightly different to normal verbs

The most common reflexive verb is:
LLAMARSE – TO CALL ONESELF / TO BE CALLED
How do we formulate it?

1. First we take off the reflexive ending –SE and place it at the front of
the verb
2. Then we change the SE pronoun depending on who is doing the
action
ME – I
3. Next we take off the infinitive ending AR, ER or IR TE – YOU
so we are left just with the stem
SE – HE/SHE
4. Finally we add the correct family ending (AR in this
case) depending on who is doing the action
