The Preterite Tense
of the
Irregular Verbs:
Ir, Ser, Ver, Dar
Preterite
means past tense.
Used to express an event or action
that began and ended at a definite
time in the past.
Example: I went to the store. I bought
a Dr.Pepper. I accidentally spilled it.
Irregular Verbs
Irregular Verbs: Do not follow a normal pattern of
conjugation (stem + ending). You just have to
memorize the different conjugations of an irregular verb.
