During Reading Activities:
 First, skimp through stories #1 and #2 and underline ALL
of the irregular verbs in the imperfect tense. (Hint: there are
45 in total)
 Second, find the translation in English for the vocabulary
listed (You can do this on the story paper). For each
vocabulary that you did not know the translation, box the
word.
 Then, you will read story #1 and story #2
 Finally, annotate each paragraph in a one sentence
summary. (Remember that this annotation should be key
idea(s) that will help you remember/understand the story)
After Reading Activities: Answer the following
questions using complete sentences
1. Identify the problem(s) in story #1.
2. Identify the problem(s) in story #2.
3. Identify 2 similarities between story #1 and story #2.
4. Identify 2 differences between story #1 and story #2.
5. Identify the solution in story #1
6. Identify the solution in story #2.
7. Which version did you like the most? Why? Explain.
8. How would you change one of the versions? Write a different
ending to it. (At least 2 sentences)

verbs with the endings for the

Actividad Final
 You will write a new, similar version of the story
“Gabriela y la acosadora” in Spanish or both
(depending on your level). Use the verbs “veía”,
“iba”, and “era” at least three times (3x) each.
 Base your story on the illustrations provided.
 Write at least 4 sentences in Spanish or both
languages (depending on your level) per box.
 I will collect your, Diario #10, Pre, During, After
Reading Activities, Actividad Final and the Exit Slip at
the end of the period.
