Day 5
WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO?
 Role play the name on your name tag
 Ask another student what they like to do, using the “tu” or
“vous” form appropriate to their name tag:
 Qu’est-ce que TU aimes faire? (kess kuh tu em fair?)
 Qu’est-ce que VOUS aimez fair? (kess kuh voo zay may fair?)
 When asked, answer with the activity on the back of your card
and this phrase:
 J’aime…[activity phrase] (see p. 52-53 for activity phrases)
 After the conversation, trade cards with your partner and find
another classmate to repeat the activity with.

WORKBOOK P. 19
WORKBOOK P. 20 (BELLWORK)
INFINITIVES: TEXTBOOK P.
64
 Look at the list of infinitives in the first
paragraph on p. 64 (words in bold). What do
they end with?
 Infinitives have no subject pronoun because
they simply state the meaning of the verb.
 Put an infinitive after “J’aime…” or “Tu
aimes…”, etc.
 An infinitive translates as “to verb”
RECOGNIZING INFINITIVES: P. 64
ACTIVITY 14
Write down all the –er
