MICROSOFT WINDOWS
OPERATING SYSTEM
• The first windows was released 20th November 1985 and it was windows 1.
• We are now in 2013 on windows 8.1.
• A family of operating system for personal computers. windows dominates the
personal computer world, running, by some estimates, on 90% of all personal
computers. The remaining 10% are mostly Macintosh computers. Like the
Macintosh operating environment, Windows provides a graphical user
interface (GUI)), virtual memory management, multitasking, and support for
many peripheral devices. (internet definition).

MAC OS X
• OS X, previously Mac OS X, is a series of Unix-based graphical interface
operating systems developed, marketed, and sold by Apple Inc. It is
designed to run exclusively on Mac computers, having been pre-loaded on
all Macs since 2002.
