• Compare our results with RiverRock 2009 and
2010 findings.
• Measure selected gases in near-space
conditions.
• Survey inorganic and organic aerosols in nearspace conditions.

• As of February 14 we are on time with our
schedule, even though we haven’t done the
semiconductor sensor tests scheduled for
February 7. We plan on doing this on February
21.
• We tested the computer and interface.
• Layer #1: Semiconductor Sensors’ Board
• Layer #2: First and second Battery Filters’
Subsystem
• Layer #3: Third Battery Filter and Manifold’s
Sensor Subsystem
• Layer #4: Interface and AVR Board’s Subsystem
• Layer #5: Power Plate
• We have successfully tested the AVR computer.
• We have two computers, one for flight and a
spare one. They both work perfectly.
• We also have a third one that need minor
repairs.
Two out of three computers worked perfectly
The third one needs some minor repairs
• We are going to work with each subsystem
separately to ensure its functionality.
• We are going to clean and assemble the
subsystems in their proper layers after the
disassembly of the payload.
•
- While testing the AVR computer we realized that
we weren’t connecting the cables correctly. Therefore
we couldn’t program the computer. That problem has
been solved.
• We are on schedule and working to have
everything done.
• There is a team training in the usage of the
Scanning Electron Microscope to analyze the
samples of RockSat 2009-2010 and 2011-2012
(upcoming flight).
