The Holy Quran states
“And We have not sent you
(O Muhammad) except as
a mercy to the worlds.”
[Holy Quran 21:107]
The Holy Prophet (pbuh) said
“A Muslim is the one from
whose hands and tongue
other Muslims are safe.”
[Tirmidhi]
Background
• Pakistan is the land of Iqbal founded
as a hope for Muslims of the Indo-Pak
Subcontinent.
• Our beloved Pakistan has been
subjected to one crisis after another
since its inception.
• Let us share some historical points to
become aware of the current situation.
‘Pakistan Day’ - March
rd
23
 On this historic day, Muslims of the Indo-Pak
subcontinent came together to assert their
aspirations for a land for Muslims.
 A land that would be a haven for Muslims to
practice their faith along with peoples of other
faiths.
 A land based on mutual respect and love of all
schools of thought.
Founder of the Nation
 We are starting with this fundamental principle that
we are all citizens and equal citizens of one State
(Presidential Address to the Constituent Assembly
of Pakistan on 11th August, 1947).
 We are now all Pakistanis--not Baluchis, Pathans,
Sindhis, Bengalis, Punjabis and so on--and as
Pakistanis we must feel, behave and act, and we
should be proud to be known as Pakistanis and
nothing else (Reply to the Civic Address presented
by the Quetta Municipality on 15th June, 1948).
Founder of the Nation
The prosperity and advancement of a
nation depends upon its intelligentsia, and
Muslim India is looking forward to her
young generation and education classes to
give a bold lead for our guidance and a
brilliant record of historical achievements
and traditions (December 24, 1940).
Founder of the Nation
You are free; you are free to go to your
temples. You are free to go to your
mosques or to any other places of worship
in this State of Pakistan. You may belong
to any religion, caste or creed (Presidential
Address to the Constituent Assembly of
Pakistan on 11th August, 1947).
Founder of the Nation
My guiding principle will be justice and
complete impartiality, and I am sure that
with your support and co-operation, I can
look forward to Pakistan becoming one of
the greatest Nations of the world
(Presidential Address to the Constituent
Assembly of Pakistan on 11th August, 1947).
QUESTIONS ?
 Where is our BELOVED Pakistan?

of chaos and calamity?

sanctity of other Human Beings?

same period.

A Minute to Ponder
 What is the source of chaos in Pakistan?
 Who wants Pakistan to fail as a state ?
 Why such mass killing of Pakistani civilians?
 Why leaders including religious scholars are not clearly
condemning these acts and calling it “Haram”.
A Minute to Ponder
 How long will our apathy let this continue?
 What can we do to encourage Love and
Respect of all Pakistanis regardless of their
background?
Lets Stop this Chain
of violence!
 Promote Mutual Respect and Love for all
Pakistanis.
 End support of elements that promote hatred of
other Pakistanis.
 Promote Tolerance !
 Support all efforts for national unity !
 Respect all schools of thought, whether they
are Sunnis, Shias or Non-Muslims .
What Can I do?
 Every person with a conscience has a role to play.
 Keep up to date with the current issues affecting
Pakistan. Write letters to concerned authorites
 Read and Analyze :
 Who is gaining benefit from the chaos in
Pakistan?
 Does Islam allow massacres of other
Pakistanis?
 Who has planted the seeds of chaos and
disunity in Pakistan?
What Can I do?
 Organize Programs to remember Our Holy
Prophet PBUH, who is the source of Rahma sent
by Allah swt. Invite all schools of thought.
 Organize unity committees in your mosque,
centers, and neighborhoods.
What Can I do?
 Identify speakers or pseudo
leaders that hurl insults at other
Pakistanis and boycott them.
 Identify hate spreading groups
and boycott their activities.
 And last but not least.. Pray for
the betterment of Pakistan and
its great people….
