SE Zonal Forum June Meeting

Now one day event – Training Session & Zonal Mtg.



1) 1st wk of Feb in WSC years in Atlanta, GA (even)
2) Brief Meeting at WSC in Los Angeles (even)
3) Brief Meeting to be held @ Florida Service
Symposium (odd years)
Decrease Zonal meetings to a 1 day workshop & 1
brief mtg in odd years & 1 brief mtg in even years.
Currently there are 2 – 2 day Zonal mtgs each year.
We need to send this back to the areas/groups
Reason for New Dates



We were meeting the 1st week of January
which conflicted w/Carolina RSC Meeting.
In the WSC year, a CAR Workshop, but,
the delegates all held CAR Workshops
prior to the Zonal and found no need for it.
If we held it the first Sunday in February,
we would be able to have NAWS review the
CAT issues with us.

Under budget by a few dollars
Speakers & Presenters were excellent
NAWS support helped make it a success
440 registered participants
Internet Technology Sessions were record setting?
Hotel welcomed us back
Relationship with Professionals, Drug Court &
Jail/Prison system still needs improvement

The topics that will be covered in this book are
many that have been prioritized in literature
surveys going back to 1999. One of our first areas
of focus will be to develop an outline for this piece.
This is a two-conference-cycle project.
