Search for subject headings can be used if we select only one database
Articles are indexed by the most specific subject headings (e.g. there
is an article about Diabetes Mellitus Type 2, the article’s subject
heading is „Diabetes Mellitus, Type 2” not „Diabetes Mellitus”
Generally an article is indexed by 2-3 or more main subject
headings and more general subject headings.





