To provide a single point of contact.

means of dealing with reports of
intimidation.
 Provide families with sufficient
support from An Garda Siochana.
 Formulate Policy

Functions of Nominated Inspectors

Liaises with the local District Officer and
monitors the progress of the investigation of any
alleged intimidation/threats by local personnel.

Ensures the appointment of a liaison person to
work with the family concerned.

The documenting of all actions taken during the
course of the process.
Communications between Liaison
Gardai and Family
