Special programs for inmigrants to educate and help them to
understand the culture of the country.
It is also important to have other programms to achieve a more
tolerant, multicultural society. Within schools and communities

GLOBAL MIGRATION
Instead of giving them jobs in our countries, we
should have the possibility of creating jobs in
their own countries. Economic support and
encourage industry from other countries
 In some countries the problem is not
immigration, but emigration, so they should
receive some kind of aid to maintain their
workers with better salaries.
 Support productive politics in those countries
where changes are being made.


Alcohol and drugs:
Alcohol should be more expensive (more tax) funds used to support
rehabilitation and treatment centers and counseling.
More police to control the streets
Organize more activities Non alcohol related such as clubs and
sports
Meet better friends


School failure:
More teachers in each classroom
Less homework to have more time to study
Help parents to teach their children to study

Teach children in a different way without
violence.
Help people with family problems.
Violent people should get evaluated and possible counseling ie.
psychologist.
More police to stop the violence in the streets
More opportunities.
Parents must teach children to behave themselves when they are very
young

Meet people from other countries and get to know
them (more projects like Comenius)

Spend more time with the families
Tell your parents the problems you have
Teach children to respect their elders
Parents should spend more free time with their
children.

Lifestyle issues:
It´s better playing sports than staying in, you will be able to
meet friends and spend your free time.
Make laws which don´t allow drinking alcohol at discos.
Take part in voluntary organizations, for example “Abierto
hasta el amanecer” here in Gijón that offers different
activities to spend your free time at night.

Computer game addiction:
Choose other activities to spend your free time and having
fun.
Do more sports.
Parents should make timetables to their children.
Support addiction treatment and rehabilitation programs


Proper treatment
Drug dependacy can be fully handled. Again counseling and
support of programs
Learn to life without drugs or alcohol.
Possitive effect on society.

Increase taxes
Taxes on alcohol get increased.
Only used in the Netherlands, can/should be used by other
countries. (alcohol and drug pass)
Can use the extra money for helping people.
It´s a long-term solution.

Prevention programmes
Inform (young) people about drugs and alcohol.
Think of lectures, videos, campaigns, etc.These are effective
in reducing drug abuse.
Stay away from people who´ve got drugs.
Be aware of places where people take drugs.
Support people with alcohol/drugs problems, in order to get
them sobber.

Registration passes
Still a experiment, used in The Netherlands.
You´ll need a pass to gain access to drugs.
It registers how much and when you bought drugs.
Can lead to an increase of the illegal market.

(Smaller) Solutions to drugs
Have more control over the entry of drugs into the country.
Tackle the easy access of the youth to soft drugs (marijuana,
hashish ,etc.)
Encourage young people to do activities not related to drugs.
(films and sports)

Conclusions
Make sure alcohol or drugs addicts have acess to a proper
treatment.
Make sure that everybody is informed well enough about
drugs and alcohol.
Follow the developments of the registration pass and the
increased taxes.
