Programme achievements
Established in 2005, the CCP has celebrated its 10th Anniversary last
December. Now, it covers 22 countries around the globe.
The total amount of Seizures made under CCP till 2015 is as follows:
• 101 Tons of Cocaine
• 2.9 Tons of Heroin
• 59.5 Tons of Cannabis
• 1274 Tons of Precursors.
• 160 Tons of Tramadol in West Africa in 2014
In addition to many seizures of counterfeits, CITES and Cigarettes.

• UNODC is providing ongoing assistance to Member States in
research and data collection in the field of drug trafficking.
Two research studies on Opiates trafficking being
undertaken are:
• The Southern route Report; and
• Opiates in Africa report (To be
published 2015).
