Where is Argentina and what does it look like?
Argentina located in southern South America (or Southern
Cone). Bordered by the Andes in the west and the South
Atlantic Ocean to the east, neighboring countries are Chile to
the west, Bolivia and Paraguay to the north, and Brazil and
Uruguay to the northeast.
Terrain: rich plains of the Pampas in northern half, flat to
rolling plateau of Patagonia in south, rugged Andes along

European immigration, although there are lesser elements of Amerindian and
African influences, particularly in the fields of music and art.
The official national sport of Argentina is pato.Pato is a game played on horseback
that combines elements from polo and basketball.

Criollo creations, which include empanadas (a
stuffed pastry), locro (a mixture of corn, beans,
meat, bacon, onion, and gourd), humitas, and
yerba mate,

evolving into modern tango.
