IMPROVING YOUR HEALTH BY KNOWING
YOUR BLOOD TYPE
“The HYPE Just For Your TYPE”
Question?
“So, could the amount of blood in the human body make a difference?”
Most people are aware of the importance of blood, yet
many do not know how much blood is in the human body.
The total amount of blood in the human body can vary
with several factors like:
• age
•sex
• health condition
•body type,
but as far as an average adult (with a body weight between
150 to 180 pounds) is concerned, the volume of blood can
be between
4.7 to 5.5 liters.

According to some studies, the
volume of blood in a human body
is 7% of the body weight.
Blood Typing Facts and Stats
There are 4 human blood types
There are 4 known blood types among all the people of our planet: A, B, AB
and O. Type O is considered the oldest, Type AB the latest to appear in the
world's history. Type A is considered to fare better on a grain-based diet
than Type O. Type O is considered to fare better on a diet that includes
more meat.
This theory is based on the idea that certain foods cause allergic reactions and
even agglutination of blood cells, due to reactions to various foods, and
specifically proteins in different foods that the body treats as foreign
antigens, much like the an immune system response to antigens (proteins)
present in bacteria and viruses. We are therefore advised to eat foods which
are compatible with our blood type for optimal health.
•
Type O represents approximately 50% of the population of the world
•
Type A, 40%
•
Type B, Approximately 8% and
•
Type AB, only 2%

O TYPES
Characteristics of Type O –By the way, this is supposed to be the
oldest bloodline of humanity and that's the reason probably, it has the
longest line of descendants. The O Positive blood type diet is the same as
the O Negative blood type diet. Though there are more things to be avoided
as compared to other blood types, the good news is that the O Positive
people can relish non-vegetarian foods. These people are vulnerable to
hypothyroidism and thinning blood, however. The O Positive blood type
foods include all meats, fruits and vegetables, though intake of carbs must
be restricted.

A TYPES
Characteristics of Type A –The A blood type diet
includes both A Positive blood type diet as well as A Negative
blood type diet. The type A people do well with a vegetarian
diet. Though it is difficult to completely avoid meat and potatoes
and divert your interest towards soy proteins, grains and
vegetables, you can just try and eat right for your blood type to
see the difference. It is often recommended that the Type A
people eat natural foods in a natural way.

B TYPES
Characteristics of Type B - The B blood type people have
the best balances and this is the reason why they are
entitled to the middle path. They have comparatively, a
tolerant digestive system and moderate exercise is just
what is needed to achieve perfect health. The food list
included in B Positive blood type diet is the same as that in
B Negative blood type diet. Even though the B blood type
people are the blessed lot, they still need to avoid certain
food items like wheat, corn and lentils to stay healthy.

AB TYPES
Characteristics of Type AB–The
AB blood type is
considered as the 'modern' blood group which is quite sensitive. The
AB blood type diet includes vegetarian food mainly, however, people
of this group can indulge in seafood and dairy products at times. The
multiple antigens in this blood type sometimes makes it A-like with
weak stomach acids and B-like with meat eating capabilities. They
must always consider the serving size as the digestive system gets
affected easily. And therefore, to eat right for your blood type is
extremely important if you belong to the AB type.

FAQ
Q ~ How does food affect the atigen structure of blood cells?
A ~ Theory has it that foods are said to have lectins which are in essence diverse proteins with
gluing or sticking properties. When we consume food, a chemical reaction occurs between our
blood and the food. When we eat a food containing protein lectins that are incompatible with
our blood type antigen, the lectins target an organ and begin a process of gluing. This gluing or
gumming up interferes with digestion, insulin production, food metabolism and hormonal
balance.
Q ~ What is the significance of Blood types?
A ~ Scientifically speaking, the theory is that each blood type is named based on its
biochemical differences. Antigens found in cells are chemical markers. Each blood type has a
specific antigen with its own special chemical structure
Q ~What other role does blood play in our body besides replenishing the heart and lubricating
the veins?
A ~ According to the philosophy of the Blood Type Diet Guru, Dr. DAdamo, it is said to be a
hidden control monitor for the immune and digestive systems. And, that the best possible
balances for these two major systems in the body depend on the state of ones red and white
blood cells.
