Italy
Tourists come to Italy because it is
rich in art, architecture and history.
There are any differents but the
cultural eritich unifies Italy. The
Belpaese offers excellent food and
wine, beautiful landescape, ideal
climate and a wide choise of
accomodation. Tourists can visit art
cities, try their hands at pottery or
blaning glass, learn italian, look after
their body and soul in the spas and
do wide variety of sport activities.
The northest Italy is an anchanting area to explore thanks to the
variety of actactions and resorts it offers. The landescape is
caraterized by snowcapped dolomites and modern skiing resorts.

Basilica di San Marco is a beautiful
church located in Venice which was
built in byzantine style.

Palazzo Ducale is a majestic building
located in Venice whicj is
masterpiece of Venetian Ghotic
architecture.

Arena di Verona is a splendid
anphitheater in Verona, the second
biggest Roman amphitheater in the
world.
Cappella degli Scrovegni is a
spendid church situated in Padua
which offers frescoes by
Giotto.
Castelvecchio is an
impressive castle located in
Verona which is daiting back to
the 14th century.
The northwest offers different beautiful sight: the high peaks of
the Alps, habitat of rare flora and fauna, the low-lying areas of the
Padana Plain and the undulating shoreline of the Mediterranean
See.

building located in Turin
which is the equivalent of
the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

church with a magnificent
Renaissance facade.
The regions in central Italy are popular destinations because they
offer a wide range of beautiful landescape and are dotted with
ancent towns rich in culture and history with magnificent churches,
castles, towers and palaces.
•Tuscany is dominated by the city of
Florence, considered the cradle of
Renaissance art and culture, with
outstanding palaces and museums. This area
includes:
•Pisa with leaning tower famous in the
world.
•Siena with Piazza del Campo is one of
Europe’s greates medieval squares.
•Florence : Florence's most famous square
is Piazza della Signoria, the heart of the
historic center and a free open-air
sculpture exhibit. The Loggia della Signoria
holds some important statues including a
copy of Michelangelo’s David. The piazza
has been Florence's political center since
the middle ages and Florence's town hall,
the medieval Palazzo Vecchio, sits on the
piazza. The palazzo contains elaborately
decorated public rooms and private
apartments that can be visited . Around
the piazza are cafes and restaurants.
Umbria,called the green heart of Italy, boasts a gentle pasoral
countryside and picturesque medieval hilltowns among wich Perugia,
Assisi, Orvieto and Gubbio

destinations. Completed in the late 13th
C, the building is architecturally
significant, with beautiful paintings on
the exterior walls.
•Gubbio offers consuls palace which was
built by Gattapone and is considered
one of the finest Gothic palaces in
Umbria.
Visitors to southern Italy are surprised by the rich heritage of remains houses and
an amphiteatheatre that survived from the eruption of both of Vesuvius in 79 a.d.
•Museo archeologico Nazionale is a famous
museum located in Naples which home to
remains of Pompei.
•A trullo is a simple dry-stone-walled
building with a domed roof topped by a
cone located in Apulia. They are dotted
around the green Valle d'Itria, and in
Alberobello the town's large clusters of
white-washed trulli create an unusual and
memorable scene.
•Mount Vesuvius is the classic symbol of
the magic Neapolitan landscape overlooking
the stunning sea of this beloved and
dreamt peace of gulf, is one of the
smallest active volcanoes in the world.
Sardinia is located to the west of Italy. It is surrounded by Mediterranean sea. The region
enjoyces a mediterranean climate with hot but windy summers and mild winters. The
landescape is characterized by a beautiful and varied coastline and an unspoilt sea. In
the north the coastline is rocky and in the south is low and sandy the principal are
Maddalena and the Costa Smeralda.In the center there are any majestic mountains
souch as the monti di Punta La Marmora and Bruncu Spina.
