Mobility support for students
of SOŠ a SOU – MŠP Letovice
on labour market in EU
Introduction
Our school prepares graduates and students of
different branches of study for labour market.
Owing to rising unemployment of high-school
graduates, our school has decided to prepare a
project „Mobility support on labour market in EU
countries“. The anticipated benefit of the project
lies in developing of language skills, orientation
support in foreign environment, gathering
essential information about requirements on
labour market in EU countries which will enable
students to better mobility and adaptaion to
labour market.
Main goals
We decided together with our UK partners to
enable students developing of language skills in
the English-speaking country. This country was
chosen considering the market requirements
which lies in knowledge of English language. The
aim of the project will be gathering and
processing information about possibilities and
requirements related to job opportunities in EU
countries, gathering and developing of language
skills, visitor’s adaptation in foreign country,
acceptance of different cultures and development
of tolerance towards to different ways of living.

The aim of the project:
The project serves to support the school activities from
South Moravian region in accordance with these laws and documents:
Act No. 129/2000 Coll. about regions (regional government), as amended,
Act No. 561/2004 Coll. about preschool, elementary, secondary, vocational and other
education (Education Act).
I. Objectives through the grant program
Human resource development - promoting cooperation and partnership in corporate
JMK performing activities of schools and educational institutions (as well as schools
and school facilities) and development with foreign language skills of students.
II. Recipients of grants
High schools and vocational schools registered in school, whose school authority is
the South Region.
III. Course grant
Grants are offered to non-investment expenditures in the implementation of their
international projects realized during the year.
Project support

The program supports the
following international projects
(preparation and implementation
of bilateral or multilateral foreign
activities for pupils and school
students):
• Language Courses,
• periods of study and practice
• exchanges,
• co-financing projects,
Comenius, Leonardo, Tandem,
YOUTH IN ACTION.


A subsidy can be targeted
specifically to cover (subject to
expenditure by the host and
guest - including pupils and
students. Pedagogic
accompaniment):
• Meals and accommodation
• transport
• travel expenses,
• insurance and visa
• the costs of reciprocal residence
in the SMR (transportation,
admission, etc.)
• purchase of materials and
services needed to ensure the
event to be consumed during the
project (tools, cameras,
computers, etc. are not allowed).
