Do Now
• Turn on your computer.
• While you are waiting for it to boot up, complete 1-3
on a sheet of paper from section 5 of your binder.
1. List three human characteristics of Delaware.
2. List one physical characteristic of Delaware.
3. Identify a region that Delaware is part of and explain
why that region is formal, functional, or perceptual.
Searching for Geography
• Using magazines, newspapers, and the internet collect
at least three pictures that show each of the five themes
of geography. Remember the five themes are region,
human - environment interaction, movement, place and
location.
• Print out one page per theme with your three pictures
and then write two sentences under each picture
justifying why and how it relates to that theme. (You
can glue/tape pictures to the page too if you need to)
• Staple your pages together with a cover page (like a
book!)
