The goal of the responsibility area is
• to support the balanced development of regional and
communal structures,
• to develop policies for economic development,
innovation environments, agriculture and employment,
• to promote competence, education, culture and
the employment and social integration of immigrants.
ELY Centres play a key role in regional development and
the granting of EU funding.
