• After consultations and preparation by Strategy and Innovation Committee, the Assembly approved
its new GÉANT strategy document “Over the Horizon” in June 2014. “Strategy Implementation”
document also approved

SA2 Testbeds as a service
Jerry Sobieski (NORDUnet)
• The service is on-the-air in four cities, with three more cities coming online.
• GTS has rolled out v1.0, v1.1, and now to v2.0
• The GTS Service Management Team has 20+ projects registered (after 1 year!)
• ...some actively in use, others in training, some that have expressed but have not yet begun.
• GTS is integrating with (and supporting) both FIRE and GENI projects
• The service performed key demos at Supercomputing, Open Networking Summit, Net Futures.
• The GOFF has successfully completed its Open Call objectives and is being assimilated into GTS.
