Masquerading
Makes it is possible to equip individual machines or systems with always the same IP
addresses and then implement them in the IP address areas of the higher-level company
network needed for the application.
This function is called a Network Address Translation - NAT. In other words, the IP address
areas for NAT can remain constant within a machine, however, the addresses for the higherlevel automation network are renamed or substituted.
NAT-Masquerading
 This function hides outgoing traffic (typically used for WAN port
connected to an “outer” network)
1:1 NAT
 Converts "private" sub-networks with the same IP address
ranges into "public" IP address ranges
