ATSONIC sweetCAM® , The Convergent Real-time Broadcasting and Dispatching
Information System, is including hardware equipment and software technology
that will allow police and security personnel to more rapidly and efficiently share
critical information such as images, files, drawings, reports, individuals’
fingerprints, and alerts between mobile computing/communications devices
(PDAs and mobile phones), or information from central dispatches to these
mobile devices. Because it transmits information and provides image sharing in
real time, the sweetCAM® system can improve response time to crises and
promote general emergency preparedness.

•sweetFINGER® -- The Mobile Wireless Fingerprint Collection and
Identification System -- the first, real-time wireless mobile fingerprint
technology, consisting of a powerful wireless client server that
integrates the newest biometrics technologies, security standards, data
management and communications with proprietary real-time adaptive
search and identification capabilities. SweetFINGER® includes a
mobile handheld computer equipped with biometric hardware that for
the first time allows law enforcement, government agencies, the
military and other security personnel to scan, collect, and verify an
individual’s fingerprints directly from crime scenes, check points or
other field stations with a reliability and speed far surpassing existing
ink-based collection/verification methods. With sweetFINGER®, police
and other security agents can provide positive identification
(fingerprint) of a suspect with improved capture and recognition, and
in real time transmit or dispatch the image to different mobile phones
or devices (i.e., to other police personnel, units, or
government/security agencies).
•sweetPRINT®/sweetFAX® -- The Mobile Printing and Faxing
Wireless System, a secured solution for wireless printing and faxing of
tickets, reports, images (facial and fingerprint), and alerts from mobile
PDAs and mobile phones directly to printers and fax machines for
printout. Police and security personnel for the first time will be able to
print out this critical information to networked printers in real time
from mobile locations. This capability can significantly improve
response time to crime scenes and security risks (immediately
dispatching suspect images directly from the crime scene or check
point) and generally can upgrade communications capabilities for any
emergency management agency.
