Overview
• When a mobile station is attached to a nPoA, it might be either
same-subnet or different-subnet.
• The mobile station does not have to do anything if there is no
need to reconfigure L3 IP settings.
• When a mobile station does a L2 handover, STA's L3 might
learn this through some cross layer event mechanism.
• Typically, this indication could be done by L3 exchange
(L3MP) regardless of subnet characteristics.
• This information not be known by Link Layer trigger.


• 7.2.7.1 Function

This notification is delivered when a layer 2 connection is established
on the specified link interface and when L3MP and other upper layers
can send higher layer packets. All layer 2 activities in establishing the
link connectivity are expected to be completed at this point of time.

its subnet change. (6.1.8)


