New Capabilities To Be
Demonstrated
• Rapid Validation of Comm Plans
– Evaluate effect of insertion of new technology (e.g.,
substitute new or COTS products for a portion of the
network)
• Rapid adaptive reconfiguration in response to
unexpected events
– Resource provisioning
– Throttling of certain applications
• Rapid analysis of network capabilities
– Network analysis for sensor-to-shooter scenario of
interest
New Technology Demonstrated
• Heterogeneous simulation capability
(combine models from different network
simulation packages)
• Distributed simulation capability over a
Run-Time Interface (RTI)
• Fast simulation capability, including use of
flow models where appropriate
• Real-Time measurement capability

– Develop interfaces from SDF to the heterogeneous
simulation capability
