Huawei is growing fast but there is no direction
for the future, then Huawei has to keep a
competitor so that it could be #2 then follow
When Nortel dying, Huawei tried to save it but
failed.
If Cisco dies in the next decade, whom Huawei
could follow ?
Could academy provides them future R&D
directions in Future Internet ?

CSTNET: China Science and Technology Network
1994, Managed by CAS, Nation wide connections
100+ Research institutes, Users over 1 Million
2000- NSFCNET (IPv4/IPv6)
2003- CNGI (China Next Generation Internet, including IPv6
backbone, campus network, and R&D). CERNET2 is the
largest IPv6 network in China and the world
3TNET (a testbed for Terabit optical, Terabit WDM, Terabit
Router + interactive TV), now is announced on July 31 2009
as NGB (not NGN or NGI, it’s Next Generation Broadcasting)

The Internet development in China is fast and we
also met many problems. The IT industry hope the
