A Day in the Life
of a Roman
What is an average day in your
life like?

Take 5 minutes and write down some of
the tasks and experiences that make up
your day.
Let’s compare experiences!






In designated groups, you will select from the list provided
and compare six aspects of your life with the Roman
equivalent.
You will choose a model roman from any social class or
gender. (male, female, slave, plebeian, patrician)
You will be given a day to research the daily life of your
Roman.
You will create a POWTOON presentation comparing and
contrasting your life to that of your Roman.
As a group you will present to the class your presentation.
In, addition your will write a one page summary of how your
life is similar and different to a Roman in the six categories
you have selected.
