give up his or her beliefs.

Christianity able to attract followers?
• After his death Christianity offered hope and
comfort; appealed to the emotions and
promised life after death; gave people the
chance to be part of a caring Group.

the Roman Empire?
• I believe it would have been harder to spread in a
different time other that the Roman Empire. The
Empire was so vast it was easy to spread
information and ideas through. Secondly the use
of trade routes helped in spreading Christianity. As
well any other time period were not as open to
change as the Romans. In conclusion Rome was
the perfect time for Christianity to spread and it
did.
