They are made of stone , brick , and special volcanic cement called
pozzulana.
Why is it important?

The system was built to carry the flow of water in areas where digging ,
burrowing , or surface grades presented a problem , such as valleys.

Roman aqueducts is a waterway system.
Aqueducts are important because it supplies water for public bathrooms ,
fountains , and private house holds. Waste water was removed by sewage
system and released into nearby bodies of water.
Why they are important today?

They are important today because now we are able to take the idea and
make it better now we have a system cleaning water through pipes.
