the Romans ran away, so the Celtic
army burned the city.
They chased the Romans to a
battlefield somewhere in the West

What were the results of Boudicca’s revolt?
Many of the Celts lost their lives in
the battle with the Romans.
The Roman governor, Suetonius,
lost his job because he had nearly
allowed the Celts to defeat the
Romans.
The Celts who had been fighting
had not been able to look after
their farms, and so returned home
to find that they had no food.
