Training requirements vary, many states

Some states allow them to write prescriptions

Nuclear Medicine Technologist



Complete either a 2-year or 4-year program
Work in hospitals, physician offices, or public
health institutions
Duties include:





Overseeing quality control
Prepare & administer radioactive drugs
Operate radiation detection instruments
Patient positioning
Performing imaging procedures




Works under the supervision of a physician
