An abundance of enterprise information is available via YouTube, Vimeo, uStream, Livestream, Twitter,
RSS, Chatter, Yammer, LinkedIn, Facebook, and more. To handle the media explosion and consolidate it
with weather and stock information, xTV sought a highly robust, media-centric, scalable cloud platform.
SOLUTION:
xTV is a solution that allows users to connect video with
feeds while choosing their own design. To ingest,
process, and push media for 130 different .TV networks,
xTV leverages a combination of most components of
the Windows Azure cloud, including: web sites, virtual
machines, Windows Azure Cloud Services, Windows
Azure SQL Database, Media Services, Traffic Manager,
Active Directory, storage instances, and Visual Studio.
