The Visits module will include the Community
Care Access Centre (CCAC) encounters if the
patient has had services from any CCAC within the
Erie St. Clair (ESC), South West (SW), Waterloo
Wellington (WW) and Hamilton Niagara
Haldimand Brant (HNHB) LHINs.
The Visits module will display the
Facility OLIS indicating that this
patient has OLIS data however
this OLIS visit cannot be selected.

OLIS Viewing Limitations in ClinicalConnect
OLIS Viewing Limitations: There are limitations for accessing OLIS data from
within ClinicalConnect which including the following:
 A user’s organization must have signed a Data Sharing Agreement (DSA)
with eHealth Ontario otherwise the user will not be able to access OLIS
data (i.e OLIS data will not be listed in the associated modules).
If access permissions are not in place, the following message will be
displayed “OLIS matches filtered”.
 In order to access OLIS data for a patient within ClinicalConnect, the
patient must have an acute care visit.
 A patient may have a consent directive limiting some or all of their OLIS
data from displaying in the clinical viewer. This will generate a message
indicating “Some or all of the requested OLIS laboratory information was
not returned due to a patient consent directive”.
