international bankers
for the gold standard,
and their commitment
to currency
depreciation as a
means of invigorating
the international
economy.
Great Britain
Wanted abolition of
war debts.
World cooperation for
monetary
simplification and
resumption of
employment.
No plans were given
on how this could
happen.
France
Wanted to keep only
the gold standard.
Create a public works
program throughout
the world to absorb
the unemployed and
restore consumption.
U.S.S.R.
Communist wanted to
stop the trading
embargoes and the
difficulties of credit
that the Soviet Union
faced from Europe
and the rest of the
world.
They did nothing to
help this conference.
Results
London conference
produced nothing at all.
Politicians being
politicians. More
concerned about their
own nation, instead of
cooperation.
What about historians,
sociologists and
economists. Is there no
knowledge?

over Europe from Poland
to Spain.
Fascist dictatorship in
Italy.
Nazi party in Germany
The rise of the Ku Klux
Klan in the United States.
Which now expanded to
hatred of Jews, and
Catholics
