What is GMS
• Application to manage student grades
• Users of the application : Administrator, Staff and Student
• Administrator : Can Add User, Add Course, Assign Course to Staff, Assign
Course to Student
• Staff : Can Add new Grade Items (like Assignment, Project, Mid term,..),
Assign Grade to Students
• Student : Can view the Grades
Application Architecture
• Front End : HTML5 and CSS3
• Server Side : JSP and Servlets to render User Interface, DAO to access
database, DTO to persist database values.
• Back end : MySQL
